I'm Gonna See The Producers

Got a light?

I'm going down with some folks to Atlanta tomorrow night to (finally) see Mel Brooks' musical comedy "The Producers" based on his 1968 film of the same name. I've been wanting to see this show for 3 whole years. Finally my comeuppance has arrived.

In other news, I've applied for a job at the new Read House Starbucks, since I quit my job at TBN. Please, no sympathy.

I would also like to respond to Josiah's accusations in his 1 April post that I have no right conspiring via the Drone, since I no longer attend Covenant: Well, touche, Mr. Roe. You are correct.

I may as well be public about this. As some of you may have guessed, I no longer attend Covenant. But, you may be asking yourself, don't I often see Tyler lollygagging about campus? Dining in the Great Hall? Didn't I see him in chapel Monday? Isn't he in my CHOW class? Well, the answer is yes. Except for the CHOW class thing--I am guilty of all of the above. Let's just say there's still a special place for Covenant in my heart--a heart, by the way, that is full of cynicism and satirical criticism for an institution I care about.

So as long as my satire is relevant and (relatively) well-received, it shall continue. When I have removed myself from Covenant so far that I can no longer intelligently ridicule it, I shall stop. But, I might just start making fun of St. Elmo anyway--it's probably easier.
